This Japanese Head Spa Course is suitable for those who are complete beginners, whether that be in hair, beauty or massage. We teach the authentic Japanese Head Spa, our tutors have had intensive training on the Japanese methods.

This luxurious treatment leaves you client feeling a sense of wellbeing as well as their hair, scalp and body enhanced by the treatments included. Japanese Head Spa Treatments offer multiple benefits for our clients. With the holistic benefits creating a sense of calm and wellbeing to the mind, allowing for the client to feel tranquility whilst enjoying the massage of the head & scalp, face, neck, shoulders, hands and arms. Improving the circulation, which in turn will feed the hair follicle and hair, encouraging hair growth.

Our theory training ensures that our students have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of all aspects of this treatment. From hygiene, legal requirements, insurance procedures, anatomy & physiology. History of the Japanese head spa treatment is covered in detail, ensuring our students have a thorough understanding of the importance of this treatment being carried out correctly, incorporating traditional methods.

All of the practical training is carried out on models that we supply for all of our students. This allows for a variety of scalp conditions and hair types. The treatment commences with scalp and hair analysis, teaching you how to recognise scalp disorders and hair conditions, continuing with scalp and hair massage incorporating a number of massage techniques, including lymphatic drainage. Students will learn how to clarify and cleanse the scalp and hair, being able to detoxify and purify the scalp and hair.

We will teach the massage movements and routine for head, neck, shoulder, hand & arm, and facial massage.

Included within the training is identifying various scalp disorders and hair conditions. Identifying these through the scalp analysis, how they can be treated.

Within the course we will discuss the various products that are required for this treatment, giving advice on the various products available within the industry. This will help our students to make a more informed decision on the range of products that they wish to use during the treatment.

We also include within the training promoting and marketing of this treatment within your business if you are looking at setting up as an individual, along with how to incorporate this treatment within your salon. As with many of our courses, we can offer in-salon training if you are looking at training your staff in this new treatment.

During your course we will discuss the equipment required and of where this can be sourced from. All of our students receive ongoing support, not only during their course but continued support long after their training has finished.

Once qualified you can expect to earn an average of £125 per hour.
